On Mount Helicon, the Muses face an existential crisis. Where once they whispered inspiration into human ears, now AI is threatening to take their place. The Muses must prove their value to Zeus and inspire works of art, or risk losing immortality. Students will follow zany characters in a high-energy comedy exploring music and poetry through live performances. The show examines forms from sonnets to slam poetry, linking classic literature with contemporary works, and showcasing techniques such as metaphor, symbolism, and intertextuality. It’s an ideal tool for engaging students with their poetry and inspiring literary talents.
